The Travellers By The Shore

A group of travellers came to the shore and climbed up a high slope which allowed them to see far away.

They saw that there was a floating object out in the sea far from them. They thought it was a large ship. So they waited in the hope of seeing it enter the harbour.

But when the object came nearer, they realised that it was not a big vessel. It could at the most be a small boat and not a ship.

Then when it finally washed ashore, they saw that it was only a floating log, and one of the travellers said to his companions,"We wasted so much time waiting for this useless thing!"

Do not judge something by its appearance or one may be deceived.
