The Fortune-Teller

A fortune-teller was telling the fortunes of passers-by in the market place. A person suddenly ran up to him and said,"Your door was not locked properly. All your things have been stolen."

Without any delay, he ran home at once to take a look.

A woman who saw everything said to him," Mr Fortune-teller, since you can foretell the fortunes of others, how is it that you did not foresee your own?"
